The Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) was also active in this meeting. The NGO questioned ways, levels of interaction, and common issues relating to Muslim women in countries that are members of the OIC. The third summit of the female ministerial members of the OIC will be held in December in Tehran. Dr Shahin Karballaie, the head of international affairs of the Presidential Women and Family Affairs Centre ( PWFAC ) answered their questions and also welcomed this future summit as a good opportunity to become familiar, unite, and work together with other Muslim women in the world, based on common interests. She also encouraged other such programs relating to women in the future.

The afternoon session began with Dr Karballaie discussing the international policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding women, family and children. Mr. Ali Bahraini then gave a talk about the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on human rights. The session finished with questions and answers.

At this closing ceremony certificates were issued to all those that attended, signed by Maryam Mojtahedzadeh, the head of the PWFAC, the head of the foreign ministry human rights department, and the head of the foreign ministry Faculty of international relations.  Photos were also taken.

After the workshop a vast majority of the participants urged Dr Karballaie to continue discussing the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding women, family and children. Dr Karballaie emphasized the presence of the NGO's in international fields, the importance of their language and communication skills, familiarity with specialist text and documents, reporting skills, principles of international dialogue, etiquette and protocols, computer and technology knowledge, media skills, and the ability to interact with national and international institutes and organizations.

Representatives of the NGO's expressed gratitude and thanks to the organizers of this workshop and hoped to see similar such events in the near future.
